Cookie policy

1. Introduction

We use (and authorize third parties to use) web beacons, cookies, pixel tags, scripts, tags, APIs, and other tracking technologies (“Tracking Technologies”) when you visit or access our products and services (“Services”), such as websites or applications we operate, or when you interact or engage with our content.

These Tracking Technologies allow us to automatically collect information about you and your online behavior and your device (such as your computer or mobile phone) to enhance your navigation of our Services, improve the performance of our Services, and customize your experience of our Services. We also use this information to collect statistics about the use of our Services, perform analytics, provide content tailored to your interests, and manage the Services to our users, advertisers, publishers, customers, and partners. We also allow third parties to collect information about you through Tracking Technologies.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files (consisting only of letters and numbers) that a web server places on your computer or mobile device when you visit a web page. When a cookie is used, it can help make our Services more user-friendly, such as by remembering your language preferences and settings. You can find more information about cookies at www.allaboutcookies.org.

Cookies are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and allow you to navigate between pages more smoothly. Cookies remember your preferences to make your interactions with our Services more effective. Cookies are also used to help ensure that the online ads you see are relevant to your interests.

3. Storing Tracking Technologies

We store tracking technologies when you visit or access our Services (for example, when you visit our website) - these are called "first-party tracking technologies". In addition, other third parties that run content on our Services (such as our analytics service providers, business partners, and advertisers) also store tracking technologies - these are called "third-party tracking technologies".

Both types of tracking technologies can be stored for the duration of your use of our Services or for repeat visits.

4. What types of tracking technologies do we use?

There are five main types of tracking technologies:

4.1. Strictly Necessary Tracking Technologies - These tracking technologies are essential for you to log in, browse and use the features of our Services or to provide personal data you request (such as your username). We do not need your consent to use these tracking technologies, which may be used for security and integrity reasons - such as detecting violations of our policies and for support or security features.

4.2. Functionality Tracking Technologies - These Tracking Technologies allow our Services to remember choices you make (such as your language) and provide enhanced and personalized features. For example, these Tracking Technologies are used for authentication (remembering when you are logged in) and to support other features of our Services.

4.3. Performance Tracking Technologies - These Tracking Technologies collect information about your online activities (such as how long you use our Services), including behavioral data and content engagement metrics. These Tracking Technologies are used for analytics, research, and to perform statistical studies (based on aggregate information).

4.4. Marketing or Advertising Tracking Technologies - These Tracking Technologies are used to deliver offers and ads to you that are tailored to your interests, and to perform email marketing campaigns. They can also be used to limit the number of times you see an ad and to help measure the effectiveness of an ad campaign. They are typically placed by our advertisers (such as ad networks) and provide them with insights about the people who have seen and interacted with their ads, visited their websites, or used their apps.

4.5. Social Media Tracking Technologies - Our Sites include social media features, such as Facebook's "Like" and "Share" buttons. These features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Services. Your interactions with these features are subject to the privacy statement of the company providing them.

5. How to manage your cookie settings

Please note that we do not recognize or respond to automated browser signals regarding tracking technologies, including "do not track" requests. However, you can manage and control your cookie settings in a number of ways. Please keep in mind that some of our service features may not function properly or effectively after deleting or blocking cookies.

5.1. Turning off cookies through your web browser

Most web browsers will provide you with some general information about cookies, enable you to see which cookies are stored on your device, allow you to delete all or some cookies, and allow you to block or allow cookies from all websites or
selected websites individually. You can usually turn off third-party cookies individually, too. Please note that the settings provided by a browser or device usually apply only to that particular browser or device.

5.2. Information about cookies is usually located in the “Help” section of your web browser. Here are links to some common web browsers:

5.2.1. Chrome

5.2.2. Chrome for mobile
